Noreen's Art

The Artist in me has a wonderful time of it. My Mum and Grandfather Willie were both Scottish artists, so I guess it's in my genes to love to create with color, form, texture or whatever strikes my fancy. Many artistic mediums appeal to me, yet GLASS has a special enticement. For decades I made and sold ENAMELS. Lately, I've gotten back into STAINED GLASS art. There's something about the vividness of color and permanency of glass (unless it's dropped!) that I enjoy immensely.

This is my stained glass outdoor movable sculpture, "LOLLIPOP TREE." It turns in the wind! This photo was taken by Dick early one morning while the spiders were busily spinning their daily WEB quota. Great spider art!

Hobbit and Noreen; 240 pixels

Here's a stained glass rendition of our cat HOBBIT who died a few years ago. Hobbit was one of the most outlandishly pushy cats we've ever had and remains totally memorable to all who knew her for her endless dubious antics.
