We seem to have an inner sense of right and wrong. Many physical techniques of accessing intuition, as in muscle testing, involve the fact that something inside of us responds differently to what’s right for us than to what’s wrong for us.

Behind all the common “yes/no” techniques lies the assumption that somewhere within us, somehow, we know the difference between right and wrong, or what’s right and wrong for us. This assumption has led to the field of “applied kinesiology,” known more popularly as “muscle testing.” This approach to intuition allows you to discover if your body responds positively or negatively to a given proposition. One popular use is to test for various medicines. By holding one aspirin, two aspirins, an Excedrin, or other type of medication, or dosage, muscle testing can be used to determine what medicine would be right for you.
