Working of Oneself to Improve Intuition: |
You can learn about flow from your breathing. Your breath has a natural flow to it. Here is a simple breath meditation that will help you learn from the flow of breath. This meditation coincides with Edgar Cayce's suggestion, "Watch your self go by." It is very simple. Watch your breath. Simply observe the flow of your breath. When you try it, youll probably notice that you naturally make small adjustments in your breath. Rather than simply observing it, you find yourself "adjusting" your breath in some fashion. Just as trusting the first thing that comes to your mind in an intuition exercise, it is hard to trust the flow of your breath. It seems that your breath is too shallow, too slow, too fast, and so on. Let go of such thoughts and simply watch the breath flow by.
Keep practicing this meditation until you can let go profoundly and deeply, and you can experience your breath as a gift from the life spirit. When you can experience the profound surrender of "letting go" and accept the "inspiration" that is in your breathing, you are ready to complete your assignment. Assignment #18: Take this question into your breath meditation. Enter into the flow state. Experience the gift of inspiration. When you have surrendered to the flow of your breathing, then ask inspiration to bring you an answer to this question: "What can I learn from my breathing about entering the flow state for inspiration and intuitive guidance?"
Email your friends about your discoveries and ask for their comments. Ask them to try the experiments for themselves and to tell you their results. PS: The breath is a subject of much study in the metaphysical and holistic health literature. Here are some valuable links to some of this material.
