At Off Campus sites:

William Kautz on Intuition

When the phone rings, we automatically wonder who it is. Intuition can be at work when we just know who is calling. Try knowing who is calling when the phone rings. Make a note of your experiences.

When you are talking to someone, you naturally monitor how well or intently the person is focused on paying attention to you, to listening to you. Sometimes we don't want to notice. But pay attention, and see how your intuition plays a role in evaluating the quality of attention you are receiving. This exercise will give you a hint or insight for a later learning module, on why our spiritual growth and our intuitive ability grow together.

When planning activities for the day, or the next day, you often use your intuition to predict what the weather will be like. Try making some explicit predictions and record them. See how accurate you are.

Watch the news! What will happen in that military action? Will that legislation pass in Congress? Is that missing person dead or alive? Keep a journal of your hunches about the outcome of current events.

Assignment #10:

Collect instances in which you already use your intuition. Discover instances in which you could use your intuition.

Email your stories to your friends. Ask them for their comments and their stories.
