 Assignment #6: Assume that the animal that came to mind symbolizes your intuition? When you imagine that animal as the symbol of your intuition, what do you learn? What aspects please you, displease you? Is there something about your relationship with intuition that you would like to change? What would you ideally choose as an animal to represent your intuition? What can you learn from the contrast between the animal that came to you and the animal that you would have as your ideal symbol for intuition? Email your discoveries to your friends and ask them about their animal symbol for intuition. The “Animal Spirits” website below is related to shamanism (the worldview of indigenous peoples) and the concept of “spirit animals.” The site has an extensive collection of animals, with their photos, describing the intuitive abilities that indigenous peoples attribute to these animals. You may wish to check out this website to see if the animal you imaged is present in this collection. Are the abilities attributed to this animal in any way related to your own vision of your “animal intuition”?
