Intuition poses an interesting paradox. You learn about the
world by looking within. A Native American term for intuition is "The Looks Within
Place." How is it possible to learn about the world by looking within? Maybe the
"within" is bigger than you think. Maybe "IN" and "OUT" are
boundaries are creation of the eyes, but non-existent for intuition.Try this exercise and then come back to this page to complete the assignment: Close your eyes and allow yourself to relax. Set the intention that you will be able to learn something important from this exercise. Get a feeling for the space that your physical self inhabits. Now imagine your energy, and the space that it inhabits. Reach out mentally and see how far it is that your being extends. Where do you end?
Assignment #5 How you envision yourself, your boundaries, affects how you envision using intuition. Do you let information "out there" leak in to you, or do you expand and embrace the world, incorporating all that is? Write about the exercise you did, "Where do I begin?" and discuss the question of identity, boundaries, and accessing intuition. Email your remarks to your friends and ask for their comments. Perhaps you can interest them in making a similar exploration. Boundaries is an interesting topic. What is it like to have expanded boundaries, no boundaries? We may be entering an age where boundaries are disappearing. Admitting the reality of the psychic dimension of the mind may be the final boundary to disappear. To enrich your thinking about the implication of Edgar Cayce’s emphasis upon the idea of “oneness” and its meaning for “no boundaries,” read the article below, and then complete your assignment: The Coming Crisis in Boundaries “Lifting the Veil: Rapture or Rupture?”
