wpe15.jpg (82481 bytes)We’ve worked to develop a verbal definition of intuition, based upon personal experiences. We tried to make it a logical definition, based upon various criteria. What if we tried to develop an INTUITIVE feeling for intuition, something other than a rational, verbal definition? Here’s something for you to try.

Recall to mind your personal experiences with intuition, noting the feeling of having an intuition come to you. Close your eyes and relax, then ask this question: "What is my image of intuition?" Then release any effort to make it happen and simply allow an image to form in your mind.

Assignment #4

After you have received your image of intuition, then prepare a written description of it. Explore in writing the meaning of this image for your understanding of intuition. What new insight about your view of intuition did you gain from this exercise. Email your friends about your discovery and ask for their comments.

You may be interested in how students like you used their intuition to image their “soul.” Similar to your assignment to create an image of intuition, these people followed Edgar Cayce’s suggestion that the soul “sees” with the imagination. So by engaging their imagination, they activated their soul’s awareness, asked their soul to “look into a mirror” and see itself. Afterwards, they created “soul self portraits.” To view these portraits, go to
