Can the use of astrology predict specific events in my life?

Astrology is a study of tendencies and probabilities. Knowing that there is free will and that there are many different levels of interpretation based on the individual’s own personal and spiritual development, it is impossible to predict with 100% accuracy when or if an event will occur. Astrology, though, can provide perspective and insight, and help make you more consciously aware of the energies at work in your life today.

Can the use of astrology give me the perfect time for getting married or starting a business?

We all know that metaphysically speaking there is perfect timing...things happen at the right time for a reason. Astrologically speaking, though, there is no perfect time...no time completely free from challenges and trade-offs. That said, consulting an astrologer or an astrological chart can provide information on better and worse times to plan a specific event or activity.

What do I need to do before my astrological appointment?

Simply provide your name (as you would like to see it printed on a chart), birthdate, birthtime (as accurate as possible), and birth location.

I had a reading from another astrologer 10 years ago. What is the difference between a reading then and a consultation now?

Your chart is your chart whether you are 5 or 95. But, different sides of your personality will emerge and be more open for development at certain times in your life than at others. From an astrological perspective, this is determined by the position of the planets today in relationship to the position of the planets when you were born...so-called transits.

Transits emphasize those aspects of our lives that are prime for development, and areas of our lives where we are experiencing the most challenge, benefit and change. Other devices (progressions and solar returns) also can reflect the energetic environment of the individual.

And, last but not least, astrologers are different one from another...we have different styles. Because of the way we are as individuals and as a result of our own personal level of development, certain areas of your life may be emphasized over others in a given session.

How often do I get an update after the initial individual consultation?

The individual reading is designed to give you information of value for at least the course of the upcoming year. If you have a desire to keep up with the planets as they unfold on a daily or weekly basis, perhaps it is time to take an astrology class, so that you can follow them yourself and that way avoid becoming dependent on another for perspective and guidance. Of course, within this timeframe, you may become interested in a consultation(s) for a specific relationship...a compatibility reading...and that is something quite different.
