Finding Your Muse

Use Your Intuition for a More Creative Life

** A Special Conference held in Aspen, CO ** August 20-25 **

Aspen is the only place in this hemisphere that is an authentic, historic manifestation of the ancient Greeks' notion that to feed one's mind, body and spirit -- daily, and in a beautiful setting -- is the highest aspiration of mankind. At last count [Aspen] had more than 500 performances, lectures, classes, films and exhibits on [its] summer calendar.

The Aspen Area Action

Recommended are the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Aspen Art Museum, and any number of outstanding local art galleries.  There is Aspen Theater in the Park and the Wheeler Opera House, with year-round activities.  Aspen is home to the Aspen Filmfest and the Aspen Sante Fe Ballet Company

The Aspen Writers' Foundation is a non-profit literary center that has been bringing readers and writers together since 1976.  The Aspen Institute, founded in Aspen in 1950, is world-renowned and serves as a global forum.  Through its seminar and policy programs, the Institute seeks to improve the conditions for human well-being by fostering enlightened, morally responsible leadership and convening leaders and policy-makers to address the foremost challenges of the new century.

The Red Brick Center for the Arts, Gallery, and Recreation Center provides access to the arts and recreation while championing creativity, innovation and exploration.  The Red Brick Center is home to 10 not-for-profit arts organizations, as well as 10 resident artists.  The Center provides arts education programs and workshops, art presentations and demonstrations, and low-cost rehearsal space.  Each month the Red Brick Gallery presents a new art show, featuring local and out of town artists.

In terms of sports and recreation, it is a wonderful time of year for balloon rides, helicopter sightseeing, paragliding, canoeing, rafting, fishing, kayaking, climbing, golf, hiking, walking tours, carriage rides, horseback riding, llama trekking, visiting the rodeo, bicycling, or taking a special jeep tour.

Come a day early.  Stay a day late.  Explore Aspen.
